🌊 Waves on Lake Volta, and boats on the move
🌊 Lake Volta has real waves now, with whitecaps on the big crests, and every boat rides them: rising, pitching and rolling with the swell, even the ones tied up at the Marina. More traffic on the water: a yacht running back and forth between the Marina and the bridge, a ferry crossing at Atimpoku, plus the jet skis, canoes and tour boat. 🗺️ The Akosombo map moves too: waves and glints on the lake and the river, white water down the spillway, boats sailing to and fro with their wakes, and birds overhead.
