๐ Cape Coast jobs, Kakum in 3D and two festivals
๐ New jobs in Cape Coast! Fishing at Bakaano (Net Boy โ Chief Fisherman, from 05:00; like real Fante fishermen, nobody goes to sea on Tuesday): haul the net in with the crew, sort the catch, mend nets. ๐งญ Tour Guide at Cape Coast Castle (Trainee Guide โ Museum Curator, needs Knowledge 1): tell visitors the castle's history and lead a moment of silence. Both have a ๐ Work view. ๐ฟ Kakum now opens a rainforest in 3D, with giant trees and the canopy walkway high above. ๐ฅ And two festivals are in the ๐ calendar: Fetu Afahye (Cape Coast, the week ending on the first Saturday of September: the chiefs' durbar and the Asafo companies dancing through town) and ๐ถ Bakatue (Elmina, the first Tuesday of July: the first net cast on the lagoon and a canoe regatta). While a festival is on, its place has special things to do.
Newer: Tarkwa: the gold town
Older: Cape Coast is open
