🗳️ Thanks @LOADED: standing for Mayor now takes a GH₵ 25,000 deposit instead of the GH₵ 5,000 fee. Get 10% or more of the votes and it all comes back after the count (the winner too), so serious candidates lose nothing. Starts with the next election (nominations from 30 Oct). This week's candidates stood under the old fee, and nothing changes for them.
