🌉 Akosombo, rebuilt: the Adomi Bridge, the dam and Senchi
🌉 The Adomi Bridge is now the real one: a silver latticed steel arch with rows of hangers, taxis, trotros and trucks crossing, people on the side paths and canoes moored at Atimpoku. 🏗️ The dam: the rock-fill wall, the powerhouse and its pipes, and the spillway with one gate open, white water roaring into the river in a cloud of spray. 🌴 Senchi: thatch villas on teak stilts, an infinity pool with sunbeds, a tiki bar pouring sobolo.
