🧺 Real bodies for the crowds you walk among
🧺 The people a little further away on your market walks (Makola, Abossey Okai, Suame, Nima, Asokwa, Oxford Street), by the road when you drive or ride, on campus and on factory floors were blocks with a ball for a head. Now they're shaped like people: shoulders, waist and hips, a neck and an oval head, arms and legs with hands and feet. Most of the porters and traders are women: a bust and wider hips, wrappers that shorten their stride, a headwrap, a little sway as they walk, and one hand up to steady the basin on their head.
