🎖️ The Mayor gets paid every day, and the pit boss
🎖️ You asked, @denorea: the Mayor of Accra now earns a salary every game day in office (GH₵ 1,000 a game day from the city treasury), on top of the GH₵ 3,000 on the day they win. Before, it was only the GH₵ 3,000 once. 🤝 And at the Bonsa River galamsey pits, you now pay the pit boss first (GH₵ 1,000 cash, MoMo only, for 7 game days) before you can dig. The locals keep quiet, so police patrols catch fewer diggers, but the pit boss can't stop a 🚨 raid: it's still illegal.
